Scope: For efficient utilization of carbon resources and reduction of carbon dioxide emission from ironmaking process, low-carbon smart ironmaking process by using technologies related with carbon saving and recycling is discussed in this conference. The two organizer of the Research Group of Carbon Recycling Iron Making System and the Research Group of Optimization of Transport Phenomena for Low Carbon Blast Furnace in The Iron and Steel Institute of Japan are attempting to establish mutual communication and smart low-carbon ironmaking system from this event. Because the development of fruitful communication between participants is also important subject, accommodation room in the Center is planned to be shared with plural participants. B. Low carbon blast furnace 1. Burden and gas flow in low reducing agent operation 2. Behavior of powdery particle in blast furnace 3. Reduction and melting phenomena of iron ore 4. Influence of physical property of liquid phase on gas permeability in blast furnace Publication and Abstract: Abstract booklet will be published in the conference. Other publications are not planned. Accommodation: Because the event seeks fruitful mutual communication, the participants are strongly recommended to stay at the Shonan Village Center, and organizer would like to ask them to share a twin-room with another participant. Accept that the room arrangement depends on organizers, please. However, remember that there is limitation of numbers of reserved rooms. The Organizer offers only the reserved accommodation in the Center. For the accommodation reservation, fill the boxes in the registration and accommodation form.
