Mitigation of CO2 emission is serious issue for the ironmaking industry. Utilization of biomass which is a renewable energy would decrease consumption fossil energy. Effective usage of biomass as energy in industry is desired in all of world. In the present workshop, the potential and application of biomass in Asia and Europe will be discussed.
