| | The present lecture is intended to describe the development of a methodology for experimentally estimating the interfacial properties at slag-metal interfaces. Surface active elements like sulfur or oxygen were introduced to trace any motion at the interface. The present study is expected to have a strong impact on refining reactions in pyometallurgical industries where slag/metal interfaces play an important role. From a fundamental view point, this provides a deeper insight into interfacial phenomena and presents the experimental technique to quantify the same |
