The Sawamura Awards will be given to the most valuable articles among all the regular articles that have been published in ISIJ International of Vol. 62 (2022), No. 1 to No.12. At the same time, the Guimarães Award will be given to the most useful regular article related to niobium, and the award winner will receive a prize of ¥200,000.

A corresponding author may recommend his (her) for only one article for the awards by sending the prescribed nomination sheet to the Editorial Group of the ISIJ (E-mail: editol@isij.or.jp, FAX: +81-3-3669-5934). An article with respect to niobium can be nominated for both the Sawamura and Guimarães Awards, but cannot be recommended for the Guimarães Award solely. The deadline for the nomination by the authors is March 20, 2023.
